The Company & context

Sanofi Aventis is one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies and number 1 in Europe.

Within Industrial Affairs, Process Development Department takes in charge chemistry manufactoring development. It gathers 900 employees across 6 sites (4 sites in France, 1 in Germany and 1 in Hungary).

The Challenge

Key challenge is to enhance Chemistry projects management (new molecule and drug development)

• Give accurate overview on plannings and projects’ progress
• Homogenize planning practices (process, project template) between projects & sites
• Provide Management with consolidated reporting on projects’ and teams’ activity and progress
• Support decision making regarding project and resource allocation and project transfer

The Solution

Design and implementation of a project management tool, based on OPX2 from Planisware.

Oresys main contributions are as follows:

• Requirements and General Specifications
• Build up of the application, testing support
• Users training and support during deployment phase
• Project Management

• End users participation during impact study, deployment and pilot phases
• Definition and implementation of common convergent processes
